Kourosh started playing the violin aged 7 and began his studies with Sandra Sinclaire before moving to Clare Thompson in 2015 who he learnt with for three years. He is now in his second year learning with Leland Chen at the RNCM. Kourosh also became principle second violinist in the Southgate Symphony Orchestra at the age of fifteen. He also successfully secured a place in the violin section of the National Youth Orchestra in 2016 for two years and has been conducted under the baton of great conductors such as Sir Mark Elder, John Wilson, Thomas Adès and George Benjamin. The orchestra enabled him to perform in venues such as the, Birmingham Symphony hall, Bridgewater hall, The Barbican and the Royal albert hall where he featured in the BBC proms two years in a row.

Kourosh has also performed with the Chineke! Orchestra in Birmingham Symphony hall with Tai Murray. In addition to working with the senior orchestra, he has also worked with the Chineke! Juniors orchestra in concerts at the Southbank Centre.  In 2016 Kourosh moved to the Dame Alice Owens School where he became the leader of the DAOs Symphony Orchestra and DAOs String Orchestra and performed the Saint-Saëns Violin Concerto with the Symphony Orchestra in March of 2018.

Kourosh is also the first violinist in the second year “Armonicó Quartet” based at RNCM with three other RNCM students. In addition to the quartet, Kourosh is also apart of a string trio with two other second year string players.   

In his first year at RNCM, Kourosh Co-lead the years first concert of "Carmina Burana" by Carl Orff. He also led the Wyatt Symphony Orchestra in their concert of Tchaikovsky symphony no.6. 

Now in his second year, he has formed the new Novak-Ahmadi guitar and violin Duo. He has performed with the RNCM symphony orchestra in their recent concert of the Firebird Ballet in October. 

He now plays on a 2015 Glen Collins Violin, kindly loaned to him From RNCM.
